This month’s highlight No6, takes us to the vibrant outdoor markets of Brazil, where I discovered a world of fresh fruits, vegetables, and healing herbs that ignited a sparkly passion within me!

Welcome back to Oceans Bliss Portal! As we kick off the month of June, picture yourself in the heart of Florianopolis’s pulsating markets, where every corner is alive with an explosion of colour, enticing aromas, and the unmistakable rhythm of samba!

In Brazil, the markets are bustling with energy and life. As I stepped into this new world, I was greeted by the sight of tables piled high with an abundance of tropical fruits and vegetables, reaching for the sky. The air was filled with the rhythmic beats of samba music, and Brazilians danced in a lively circle, exuding infectious joy. It was an atmosphere brimming with energy and magic.

With a warm smile, she beckoned me closer, and as I approached, I saw baskets, bottles, and
hanging herbs surrounding her. I have to admit, some of the herbs looked deeply terrifying and I wondered if they would end up in my concoction!  Her wise eyes seemed to read my soul like an open book, and I was intrigued. I took out my Portuguese book and attempted to convey my ailments, and in an instant, she sprang into action. Swiftly grabbing a brown paper bag, her hands danced among the array of herbs, selecting and combining them to create her magical potions.

She handed me the paper bag filled with her herbal concoction and explained how to brew it into a soothing tea. She then told me to keep my feet warm all of the time. This mixture, which by the way was not pleasant tasting,  became my starting point for healing a persistent ailment that had plagued me for years. Every night I would sip the tea and I could feel it starting to help me.  It was a revelation—an introduction to the incredible healing potential of herbs.

This encounter became the catalyst for a profound healing transformation in my life. The macumbera’s wisdom and the power of nature’s remedies awakened a deep passion within me. I delved into the world of herbs, juices, and natural concoctions, exploring their countless health benefits and embraced self-healing with a preventative and holistic approach.

From that moment forward, my visits to the market became more than a simple shopping trip. They became a pilgrimage, a quest for knowledge and inspiration.

With each visit, my love for market knowledge and the healing potential of nature deepened. Each vendor had a unique offering and blissdom to share. These captivating personalities not only shared their extensive wisdom but also injected an element of magic into every interaction.

As I reflect on this turning point in my life, I am filled with gratitude for the wise macumbera and the interesting people and products I found in the bountiful markets of Brazil. They not only helped heal me physically but also taught me about energy and spirit, igniting an inner passion within me. The journey continues, and I am always eager to explore markets in all places I visit, because they are truly the greatest bliss building treasure.
