Welcome back to Oceans Bliss Portal! Today’s berrylicious adventure is filled with fresh farm strawberries and a pinch of moonlit magic!
On a sunny June day, me and my little strawberry-devouring daughter set out on a blissnual family tradition to pick as many strawberries we could at the local strawberry fields to make our annual strawberry rhubarb jam. The Strawberry Supermoon was on the horizon, signalling the perfect time to gather the ripest, juiciest berries and celebrate nature’s summer gifts. Armed with baskets and a cart we raced through the rows picking the sweetest strawberries we could find!
We definitely hit the berry jackpot, returning from our fruit picking adventure with a whopping forty pounds of strawberries. My daughters face and shirt was 
covered in red juice and I think she ate more than we picked!
As the sun set and the Strawberry Super Moon took centre stage, the Crazy Canning Lady began to emerge, and started to set the canning stage, taking the camper cooker out onto the balcony to cook up some jam under the mesmerizing moonlight. There’s just something downright magical about canning beneath the celestial glow of the moon. There I was, stirring my bubbling cauldron of fruit. The tantalizing aroma of strawberries and rhubarb filled the air, mingling with the moonlit breeze. With every swirl of the spoon, I couldn’t help but sway to the rhythm, turning my jamming session into a little mystical moment just for me.
As the jam thickened and reached its peak deliciousness, I poured it into jars, reveling in the vibrant, ruby red hue. Being known for giving my canning fun names, this one was simple to honour the mesmerizing colour! I called it “Ruby Rhubarb Strawberry Jam.” I let 
the jars bask under the full moon overnight, and in the morning, I labeled them before stashing them away in my cold room.
Jammin’ under the Strawberry Supermoon was one of my most cherished canning memories! It was a time shared with my daughter during one of our wild fruit-picking adventures, as well as a time I could savour alone, indulging in something I absolutely love doing under the moonlit sky.
