Fruit Picking Ninjas vs Cherry Dandruff
Share The Bliss
Hello Beautiful Friends!
When I was young, I embarked on a fruit-picking adventure that would leave a lasting impression on me. I camped out in farmers’ orchards and stealthily moved from one fruit farm to another. One day, I stumbled upon a cherry orchard that would forever change my perspective on farming. Little did I know that this journey would involve ninjas, flying “dandruff,” and an enlightening exploration of organic farming’s impact on our health and the environment.
Welcome back to Oceans Bliss Portal! Today, we embark on a fruit-picking adventure that unveils the art of organic farming!
Upon entering the cherry orchard, I found myself surrounded by a team of fruit-picking ninjas. Their attire included sarongs wrapped around their heads and faces, giving them a mysterious, almost superhero-like appearance. What secret mission were they on? It turned out that these sarongs were no ordinary disguises but protection against the pesticides clinging to the cherries. As we plucked the juicy red cherries, the trees were gently shaken, causing the air to be filled with what seemed like white dandruff. In reality, it was the pesticides flaking off the cherries!
After a few days in the cherry orchard, I noticed a symphony of symptoms in myself and the other fruit picking ninjas. A chorus of sniffles, coughs, and sneezes echoed through the air. The pesticides were taking their toll on our health! Witnessing the pesticide-induced symphony of colds and flu-like symptoms within myself and others, I knew it was time to look for a healthier fruit picking path.
Leaving behind the fruit picking ninjas and cherry orchard, I started looking around for organic fruit farms. As I stepped foot onto the organic oasis of a gala apple farm, a breath of fresh air greeted me. No more sneezing and sniffles; the air was filled with the sweet scent of ripe fruits and the buzz of busy bees. It was as if the farm itself was rejoicing in the absence of chemicals!
The next morning, bright and early, all of the fruit pickers emerged from our tents. However, today was different, I shed my ninja outfit and embraced the freedom of the morning. Amidst the picking, the farmers shared stories of their journeys, struggles, and triumphs in cultivating their organic farm. Their dedication to sustainable practices resonated deeply with my organic spirit. I understood that organic farming was more than just avoiding synthetic pesticides, pesticides and herbicides; it was a commitment to nourishing the land and our bodies, embracing sustainable practices, while celebrating soil health, biodiversity, and natural pest control methods.
Organic farms act as blissguardians of the soil, water, and air, employing practices that preserve biodiversity, conserve water resources, and nurture soil fertility. By avoiding synthetic chemicals, organic farming contributes to a cleaner, greener planet. The farms dance harmoniously with nature, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and even sequestering carbon in the soil. It is farming as a bliss force for good.
Like a stealthy ninja, observe closely when you venture into the grocery store and select your fruits. Although they may appear pristine and polished, the truth lies hidden beneath the surface. Look beyond the superficial cleanliness and glimpse the strings that connect the synthetic pesticides and fertilizer filled earth to the roots of these fruits.
My youthful fruit-picking adventures, filled with ninjas, “dandruff,” and organic farming wonders, transformed my perspective on agriculture forever. Embracing organic farming not only offered my body safer, nutrient-rich produce but also allowed me to begin my journey as a bliss custodian of the environment.

BLISS TIP
Picking Organic
I understand that organic food can be expensive, so here’s a helpful tip to start your journey towards buying organic. Look for fruits and vegetables that are part of the “Dirty Dozen,” a list that highlights the produce with the highest pesticide residues. By prioritizing organic options for these items, you can make a huge impact on reducing your exposure to pesticides.
The Dirty Dozen List changes annually, so do a google search to see the latest list. The specific items on the list vary year to year, but some examples that are commonly found on the Dirty Dozen list include strawberries, potatoes, spinach, apples, grapes, and peaches.
