DIY toilet paper roll seed starters: 1. Measure the length of toilet paper needed for your garden. (Use unbleached, recycled, or eco-friendly toilet paper that breaks down quickly and safely in the soil). 2. Make a paste using water and flour. 3. Add dots of paste along one side of the toilet paper, spacing them according to your seeds’ needs. 4. Fold the paper over and let it dry. 5. Plant it directly in your garden when ready! I generally make these only for carrots in my greenhouse since they benefit the most from this method. After all the effort of harvesting seeds, I can’t stand wasting them—and I’d rather skip the thinning. Will you try this method? Which seeds would you use it with? Save this to try later!
