After spending an entire afternoon playing in the snow, it was finally time to head inside for some warm hot chocolate. Waving goodbye to the snowman, it dawned on me that it was a symbolic representation of life – like a snowman, life requires constant attention, and neglecting any part of it can cause it to melt away.

I have a tendency to view life through the lens of analogies and metaphors, and I find myself slipping into a state of deep-bliss where time seems to slip away as I reflect on life and existence.

Analogies can be a powerful tool to help yourself better understand complex ideas by presenting them in a more relatable way. So let’s look at this analogy and how it can be applied to the deeper aspects of life as well!

Let’s think about it, when you build a snowman, you start with a small ball of snow and keep rolling it until it becomes bigger and bigger. You have to keep adding snow to it to make it grow. Just like building a snowman, life is a process of constant growth. We start small, but with time and effort, we can become bigger and better versions of ourselves.

But building a snowman is not just about adding snow, it’s also about shaping it. You have to give it the right shape and proportions to make it look good. Just like shaping a snowman, we need to shape our lives by focusing on what’s important. It’s easy to get distracted by things that don’t matter, but if we stay focused on our goals they won’t melt away and we can achieve unlimited potential in this short time we have on earth.

Just as building a snowman requires focus and attention to detail, living a fulfilling life requires us to pay attention to all aspects of our being – physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. If we neglect any of these areas, we risk losing a part of ourselves, just as a snowman melts away when left unattended.
